Reporting a wrong place or time

Every report is checked against independent references. To help us investigate quickly, please include:

• The address of the page, for example the city page URL.
• The date the figure applies to.
• The figure you expected and the one shown on SunriseAlmanac.
• The source you compared it with, such as an official almanac or a national weather service.

Before writing, it may help to read the methodology. Our times assume a sea-level horizon and standard refraction, so local hills, buildings or unusual weather can make the observed time differ by a few minutes. Missing towns, misplaced coordinates and incorrect time zones are also worth reporting.
